Adventure is calling from the open sea! Pokémon Winds & Pokémon Waves were just announced for 2027, launching exclusively on Nintendo Switch 2 and whisking Trainers away to a breezy, island-dotted open world begging to be explored.
Say hello to your three new First Partners: Browt, the plucky Grass-type Bean Chick Pokémon; Pombon, the fiery Fire-type Puppy Pokémon; and Gecqua, the cool, collected Water-type Water Gecko Pokémon. Choosing just one is going to be agony.
As if that weren't enough, the reveal also unveiled the jaw-dropping Mega Garchomp Z. The next generation is shaping up to be a big one.
