Motostoke is a city in the south-central Galar region and an early milestone in the Gym Challenge storyline. On a first visit, crowds and a resting Corviknight confine the player to the main road until they register for the Gym Challenge at Motostoke Stadium. The player then lodges in the Budew Drop Inn, where four Team Yell Grunts must be beaten before check-in, and attends the tournament's opening ceremony at the stadium the following morning.
