The Avalanche Slopes climb from Arena's Approach toward Mount Coronet in the southwestern Alabaster Icelands of Hisui. Snow buries the ground except for exposed dirt trails, the largest of which switchbacks sharply up the mountainside past plateaus at each bend and a protruding sheet of ice partway up. The trees here are bare and withered, resembling splinters jutting from the earth, and an entrance to Icepeak Cavern opens at the area's eastern end.
