Lake Verity

Lake Verity belongs to the Obsidian Fieldlands of Hisui, the region known in later eras as Sinnoh. Verity Cavern, on an island at the lake's heart, houses Mesprit, the Legendary guardian and Being of Emotion. Together with Lakes Valor and Acuity, it features in the myth of the world's creation, specifically the origin of spirit, and Volo says it formed in a volcanic crater. In Diamond, Pearl, and their remakes, the player and Barry visit after televised reports of a Red Gyarados.
