The Heartwood

The Heartwood is an immense forest covering the whole southeastern sector of Hisui's Obsidian Fieldlands, bounded by a river and Mount Coronet's southern tail and linked to Oreburrow Tunnel, Obsidian Falls, and, via Tidewater Dam, Nature's Pantry. A sharply bending river runs north through the woods, flanked by mostly bare floodplains, and a torch-and-column-lined trail leads to the Grandtree Arena, home of the noble Kleavor, with Scyther lurking in a secluded inlet nearby. The Moss Rock in its western section lets Eevee evolve into Leafeon, and in Sinnoh the land later forms sections of Route 221 and of Ramanas Park.
