Wayward Cave lives up to its name as an easy place to get lost. In Sinnoh it is a multi-floor cave under Route 206's Cycling Road with two entrances, requiring Cut to enter, Rock Smash and the Bike to navigate, and Flash to light its maze of dead-end passages; its hidden basement is the only wild Gible habitat in Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum outside the Grand Underground. In Hisui it is instead a single-level tangle of interconnecting tunnels dotted with ore deposits, Iron Chunks, and torches, ending in an open chamber with a small spring near the exit to Wayward Wood.
