Desert Underpass

The Desert Underpass is a long tunnel on Route 114 behind the house of the Fossil Maniac, appearing only in Pokémon Emerald and open solely to Hall of Fame inductees. It runs east through northern Hoenn's mountains, passing above Fallarbor Town and Route 113 before ending in a sandy cul-de-sac. Its chief draws are wild Ditto, found nowhere else in the game and useful for breeding, and the Fossil the player left behind at the Mirage Tower.
