The city hosts the climactic encounter with Groudon or Kyogre and the player's final Badge, and while the awakened Legendary rages, blazing sun, downpours, or strange weather grips the town. Stars visible through the crater's opening give Sootopolis a striking night view, and during the Delta Episode Wallace waits near the Cave of Origin's entrance.
