Ten stories tall and held sacred across Johto, the Bell Tower stands in northeastern Ecruteak City, with only select people permitted inside. Ho-Oh once perched on its roof but departed after the city's western tower mysteriously burned down. Armed with a Rainbow Wing, and in later games a Clear Bell too, the player can call the Legendary Pokémon back for a rooftop battle. Generation II calls the building the Tin Tower, and Crystal's ground-floor Suicune encounter takes place here once the three beasts are assembled.
