Burned Tower

Once called the Brass Tower and formerly matching the Bell Tower in height, Ecruteak City's Burned Tower was destroyed by a lightning-sparked fire 150 years before the events of Gold, Silver, and Crystal. Legends say Lugia perched here before fleeing to the Whirl Islands, while Ho-Oh left its own tower to seek a pure-hearted Trainer. Three Pokémon perished in the blaze, and Ho-Oh briefly returned to revive them as the legendary beasts.
