Sprout Tower rises over 100 feet above Violet City, a three-story wooden pagoda whose flexible central pillar sways to absorb earthquakes; legend claims that pillar was once a 100-foot Bellsprout. Monks live and train inside, teaching that all living things coexist through cooperation, and battle mainly with Bellsprout alongside the occasional Hoothoot. Wild Rattata nest in the woodwork, and Gastly are said to drift through after dark. Defeating the Elder, Li, earns the player Flash.
