Roaming Pokémon are wild Legendary Pokémon that do not wait in a fixed spot; instead they travel around their region, seemingly at random, and must be tracked down. They featured in every core series game from Generation II through Generation VI except Black 2, White 2, Omega Ruby, and Alpha Sapphire, and have variously been called wandering, migrating, or runaway Pokémon.
