Grande Vallée Way, Route 19, descends through eastern Kalos from Couriway Town to Snowbelle City and frequently sees rain. Just south of town a three-way intersection offers a western detour into a boggy Surf area, a southern hop across small platforms, and an eastern climb to a plateau. Farther on, a long bridge overlooks the wetlands below; on the player's first crossing, three rivals battle them in succession as part of the story.
