Distortion World

Existing parallel to the Pokémon world, the Distortion World is a realm where time stands still and space behaves unpredictably. Arceus banished Giratina here, making it the Legendary Pokémon's home and the only creature known to live in the dimension. Gateways open at the Spear Pillar atop Mount Coronet and in Turnback Cave. Inside, floating rust-colored islands hang at odd angles, gravity fails to apply normally, and players can walk or Surf along walls and even ascend waterfalls without the usual requirements.
