Whispered of as Sinnoh's hidden fourth lake, Sendoff Spring sits east of Route 214 beyond the Spring Path; some say it is where the dead begin their passage to the next world. On the central lake's shore stands the entrance to Turnback Cave, a place where the boundary separating the Pokémon world from the Distortion World grows thin. In Diamond and Pearl, the spring opens only after entering the Hall of Fame, while in Platinum the player first arrives here after escaping the Distortion World.
