Accumula Town lies in southeastern Unova, with Route 1 running south toward Nuvema Town and Route 2 heading west and then north toward Striaton City. During Pokémon Black and White, it stages the player's first brush with Team Plasma: Professor Juniper waits outside the Pokémon Center while Grunts bar the way forward, and after the Pokémon Center tutorial, Ghetsis appears with his followers to address the town square, an event the player cannot avoid triggering.
