8 Pokémon can be caught at Route 8 in Unova — highlighted on the map below.

Persistent rain leaves Route 8 in northwestern Unova dotted with puddles where Pokémon hide, and in winter those puddles freeze solid. The route runs east from Icirrus City toward the Tubeline Bridge, with a northern fork leading to the Moor of Icirrus. Close to the bridge, a pun-loving Parasol Lady distributes weather-boosting rocks that vary by time of day. Two Team Plasma Grunts bar the bridge entrance in Black and White until the Light Stone or Dark Stone comes into the player's possession, after which Bianca arrives for a battle.
