East of Route 2 on Melemele Island, this graveyard serves both the people and the Pokémon of the island, its grounds dotted with gravestones and flowers left in remembrance. Mourning Trainers sometimes challenge visitors to battle as a distraction from grief, and Ghost-type Pokémon of several kinds haunt the grounds. At night, a woman mounted on a Machamp can be found paying respects to her late husband; his surviving Machamp threw away its Poké Ball out of survivor's guilt, and she gives the player his TM56 (Fling) before departing.
