Route 116
10 Pokémon can be caught at Route 116 in Hoenn — highlighted on the map below.
Running east from Rustboro City toward Rusturf Tunnel, Route 116 offers low-level wild Pokémon in three grass patches, and it is the only spot in Generation III's core games where wild Nincada and Skitty appear, as well as the first place to find wild Whismur. Near the tunnel entrance stands the Tunnelers' Rest House, occupied by workers who halted construction to protect the tunnel's wild Pokémon; it opens up after Peeko the Wingull is rescued from a Grunt. Cut is needed to explore a sizable section of the route.
