Curving in an S shape around a little pond, Route 35 carries Trainers from Goldenrod City north to the National Park's southern entrance and the Pokéathlon Dome, with a shortcut also linking to Route 36. At the gate out of Goldenrod, the guard Webster entrusts the player with a Spearow carrying Mail meant for a friend of his waiting on Route 31.
