Route 39

Nearly straight and free of major obstacles, Route 39 joins Route 38 to Olivine City, with Moomoo Farm occupying its northern half. At the farm, players can buy Moomoo Milk and earn TM13 (Snore) or TM83 (Natural Gift) by feeding Berries to an ailing Miltank until it recovers. Four Trainers stand along the route, including Pokéfan Derek, who in Gold and Silver registers his number and occasionally offers Nuggets; HeartGold and SoulSilver players also first meet Baoba here.
