Route 16

15 Pokémon can be caught at Route 16 in Kanto — highlighted on the map below.

Route 16 extends west from Celadon City in central Kanto before bending south into Route 17, forming the northern approach to Cycling Road. Before Generation VII a Bicycle is mandatory to pass the gate onto the bike path, which is patrolled by Bikers favoring Poison-type Pokémon; in the Let's Go games the road becomes Pokémon Road and opens to pedestrians. A cuttable tree near Celadon hides the route's northern half, where a reclusive Trainer living in a secret house rewards discretion about her whereabouts with the move Fly.
