Route 18

23 Pokémon can be caught at Route 18 in Unova — highlighted on the map below.

Plateaus of varying heights, linked by staircases, make up most of Route 18, an island route off southwestern Unova reached by riding the currents from Route 17. Its cliffs, beaches, and lone patch of dark grass host plenty of items, Trainers, and wild Pokémon. Inside the route's house, a Pokémon Ranger gives away a Larvesta Egg in Black and White, an Ace Trainer heals the party, and a shady man pays $10000 per Rare Bone. After Ghetsis falls, the sage Rood is arrested on this route, while the sequels add Crasher Wake and a Hidden Grotto.
