Granite Cave lies northwest of Dewford Town in Hoenn, entered solely from Route 106. In the Generation III games its deeper floors are pitch dark, leaving only a small visible radius around the player unless Flash is used, whereas in Generation VI those areas are merely dim and remain navigable without assistance.
