Hills and plateaus connected by raised walkways characterize Route 22, which runs between Humilau City and the Giant Chasm in northeastern Unova, with a pond in its southeastern corner. After Marlon is defeated at the Humilau Gym, the Legendary Terrakion appears mid-route and can be battled, and Colress arrives to hand over the Colress MCHN, the device needed to shift the Crustle that blocks the way, within Seaside Cave, toward the Plasma Frigate. In the route's northeast sits a Hidden Grotto.
